Genebra

After our amazing adventure in Zermatt, we had one night and one day to spend in Geneva before our flight home. So, we dropped off our bags at the City Hostel ( a surprisingly nice and comfortable one) and walked around the old city as the sun set.

That night, we went to a billards bar, had some Swiss bier and played pool for a while. Then we ventured out to eat kebap, and compare it to our own beloved Zurum Doner (the Swiss sandwich is sweet, almost cinammon tasting). Anyways, we headed back to the hostel and watched some Swiss MTV before lights out.

The next morning we walked around the city all day, exploring and taking many pictures. It was rainy, and quite chilly, but the group stayed carefree from the great experience we'd had so far.
(We found a great Botanical gardens, and explored for a while)

(We were trying to decide whether or not its a geyser...turns out, a man made fountain)

( Awesome shot of swans on the beach. The lake was filled with them)

(Like I said, we took lots of pictures)

(We started the day by tracking down the UN. Here we see "The Broken Chair")

Geneva was unexpectedly, a quiet yet urban setting, in between mountains, a giant lake, and prestine country side. The weather didn't bother us, in fact it was much warmer than high up in Zermatt- and the winter turned out to be beautiful.

I'm working on a video from the trip (Geneva and Zermatt) so, I'll post as soon as it's done.
